🇮🇹 Pizza Fritta (Fried Pizza Dough)
Crispy and golden fried dough topped with tomato sauce and melty cheese.
Ingredients:
• 250 g pizza dough
• 150 ml tomato passata
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Olive oil for frying
• 100 g mozzarella, shredded
• Salt, basil (optional)
Instructions:
1. Divide dough into small rounds and flatten.
2. Fry in hot oil until puffed and golden. Drain on paper.
3. In a pan, heat passata with garlic and salt.
4. Spoon sauce and cheese on fried dough.
5. Optionally broil or serve as-is. Garnish with basil.
