Moist Banana Bread Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 to 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar (you can reduce to 1/2 cup if you want less sweetness)
1 large egg (beaten)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Optional Add-ins:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth. A few chunks are fine, depending on your texture preference.
3. Mix in the melted butter with the mashed bananas.
4. Add the baking soda and salt, and stir to combine.
5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
6. Mix in the flour until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
7. If you're adding nuts or chocolate chips, fold them in gently.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
