Here's a recipe for our sugar free friends Sugar Free Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or sugar-free chocolate chips for added texture
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the melted butter until smooth. Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
3. Combine Dry Ingredients: Add the baking soda and salt to the banana mixture, then stir in the flour until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
4. Add Optional Ingredients: If using, fold in the nuts or chocolate chips.
5. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Serve: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
