Blackberry Blue Cheese Salad
Ingredients:
4 cups mixed salad greens
1/2 cup fresh blackberries
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup sliced red onion
1/4 cup candied pecans (optional)
1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, blackberries, blue cheese, crumbled bacon, and sliced red onion.
If using, sprinkle the candied pecans on top for extra crunch.
Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette dressing and toss gently to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately as a light lunch or a side dish with your main course.
