A Brownie Cake is a delicious dense, fudgy brownie and a soft, moist cake!

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped (or use chocolate chips)

1 1/4 cups sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

Optional: chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or frosting for topping

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

3. Stir in the sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

7. Let the brownie cake cool completely before serving. You can enjoy it as is or top it with frosting or whipped cream.
