Garlic Butter Steak with Cheesy Herb Pasta 🍝🧄
Savor the perfect fusion of juicy steak and creamy pasta with this delightful dish! A mouthwatering meal that will impress anyone at your table!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter (divided)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta: Boil the fettuccine in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions, cooking until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside, making sure to reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water for later use.
2. Prepare the steak: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the bite-sized steak pieces generously with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is hot, sear the steak in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
3. Make garlic butter: Lower the heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 4 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet where you cooked the steak. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant. Return the seared steak to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic butter mixture. Once combined, remove from heat and set aside.
4. Prepare the creamy sauce: In a separate skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, whisking until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Combine pasta and sauce: Gently add the cooked fettuccine to the creamy sauce, ensuring each strand is coated. If the sauce is too thick, use the reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency to your liking.
6. Serve: Plate the cheesy herb pasta and pile the garlic butter steak pieces on top. Finish by garnishing with freshly chopped parsley and serve while hot for maximum flavor.
