Black Poison Candy Apples
📋 Ingredients:
• 6 apples
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup corn syrup
• Black food coloring
• 6 wooden sticks
🍽️ Directions:
1. Insert wooden sticks into the apples.
2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup; bring to a boil.
3. Once boiling, add black food coloring and cook until it reaches the hard crack stage (around 300°F).
4. Dip each apple into the candy coating, allowing excess to drip off.
5. Place on a parchment-lined tray to cool.
