Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition until fully combined.
3. Stir in the peppermint extract and add a few drops of green food coloring if desired, mixing until evenly colored.
4. Roll the mixture into small, marble-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Flatten each ball gently with the back of a fork or your fingers.
6. Dust the mints lightly with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm before serving.
