Garlic Butter Chicken Tortellini Pasta in Creamy Cajun Three-Cheese Sauce

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tbsp butter, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 (20 oz) package of cheese tortellini, refrigerated
1 cup heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese, softened
4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chicken broth
Italian seasoning blend for garnish

Directions:

1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Whisk until the cream cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
3. Add the Velveeta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir continuously until all the cheeses are melted and the sauce is thick and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
4. Add the cooked chicken and cheese tortellini to the skillet with the cheese sauce. Gently toss to coat the tortellini and chicken evenly in the sauce.
5. Continue to heat until the tortellini is heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning blend before serving. Serve immediately.
