🥩🇫🇷 Petit Salé aux Lentilles
A comforting dish of salted pork simmered with green lentils, carrots, and onions. Hearty and perfect for a winter meal 🍲.
Ingredients:
• 600 g salted pork (shoulder or belly)
• 300 g green lentils
• 2 carrots
• 1 onion studded with cloves
• 1 leek
• 1 bouquet garni
• Salt & pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Soak salted pork in water for a few hours to remove excess salt.
2️⃣ Place pork in a pot with lentils, carrots, onion, leek, and bouquet garni.
3️⃣ Cover with water and bring to a boil.
4️⃣ Simmer for 1h30 until pork is tender and lentils cooked.
5️⃣ Season to taste and serve hot 🌿.
