🍹 Piña Colada Smoothie🍍
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
½ medium banana
¼ cup unsweetened coconut milk
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup ice cubes (omit if using frozen pineapple)
Optional garnish: shredded coconut, pineapple slices, or a maraschino cherry
Instructions:
Prepare Your Ingredients : If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and chop it into chunks. Peel the banana and break it into smaller pieces for easier blending.
Blend Until Smooth : In a high-speed blender, combine the pineapple, banana (if using), coconut milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ice cubes. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. This should take about 30-60 seconds, depending on your blender.
Taste and Adjust : Pause to taste the smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more honey or maple syrup. If it’s too thick, blend in an additional tablespoon of coconut milk or water.
Serve Immediately : Pour the smoothie into a tall glass. Garnish with shredded coconut, a slice of pineapple, or a maraschino cherry for a festive touch. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.
