Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
For the Salmon:
4 (6 oz each) salmon filets
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
1/4 tsp blackening seasoning (optional)
For the Sauce:
3 Tbsp butter
2 tsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
Pat the salmon filets dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning if using. Set aside.
Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and preheat the broiler.
Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter with the olive oil. Add garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice, stirring until the sauce is heated through, about 30 seconds.
Place the salmon filets in the skillet, skin side down if using skin-on, and cook for about 3 minutes while basting frequently with the sauce.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for 5-6 minutes, basting once during cooking, until the salmon is caramelized and cooked to your desired doneness.
Garnish with minced parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
