🍰 Pecan Dump Cake
🧂 Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups brown sugar (light or dark)
1 cup light corn syrup
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 cups pecan halves
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter (for topping)
Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
🔧 Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13” baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans.
Pour mixture into the baking dish.
Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the top — do not stir.
Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
Bake for 50–55 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
