Ingredients:

For the Fish Sticks:

1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or tilapia), cut into 1-inch strips
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
For the Tartar Style White Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:

Prepare the Fish: Cut the fish fillets into 1-inch strips.
Make the Breading: In a shallow dish, combine panko bread crumbs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Bread the Fish: Dip each fish strip into the beaten egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
Fry the Fish Sticks: Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the breaded fish sticks and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Tartar Style White Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, chopped fresh dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Serve: Drain the fish sticks on paper towels and serve immediately with the Tartar Style White Sauce.
Tips:

You can use any type of white fish you like for this recipe.
For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Tartar Style White Sauce.
Serve the fish sticks with your favorite side dishes, such as french fries, coleslaw, or tartar sauce.
