Heavenly Spiced Mongolian Beef Stir-Fry with Noodles

Ingredients:

8 oz wide rice noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp garlic paste
1 ½ tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp chili paste
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ cup lite soy sauce
¼ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup hoisin sauce
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 bunch green onions, sliced on the diagonal into 1-inch pieces
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Directions:

Cook noodles according to the instructions on the box. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
In a 12-inch skillet or wok, heat sesame oil and brown ground beef until it is no longer pink.
Add garlic paste and ginger paste to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute.
Incorporate chili paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and half of the beef broth. Mix well.
Dissolve cornstarch in the remaining beef broth and add to the skillet. Stir continuously over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
Mix in green onions, adjusting the sauce seasoning to taste. Continue to sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce.
Garnish with more green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
