Creamy Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Cheesy Savory Beef
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the spaghetti:
12 oz spaghetti pasta
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Salt, to taste
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Sprinkle with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and combined. Turn off the heat and set aside.
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, then gradually stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Season with ground black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
Add the savory cheesy beef mixture to the pasta and stir until well combined.
Garnish with fresh parsley, extra Parmesan cheese, and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
