Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
2 (6 oz) sirloin steaks
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
¼ cup chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and black pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side until medium-rare or preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add shrimp, season with salt and Italian seasoning, and cook for 2 minutes per side until opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce: Melt the remaining butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and additional salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer until thickened.
Combine: Add cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat. Top with sliced steak and shrimp.
Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
