Lemon Butter Fish Fillet – Light, Flavorful & Easy

Ingredients:
4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or halibut)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon slices for garnish
Directions:
1/ Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2/ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3/ Add fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and flaky. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4/ In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5/ Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 1 minute.
6/ Return fish to the skillet and spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fillets.
7/ Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
8/ Serve warm with lemon slices and your favorite side dishes.
