Golden Brown Cottage Cheese Fritters
Ingredients:
1 lb cottage cheese (drained)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for frying
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, flour, egg, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
Coat each patty in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the cottage cheese patties until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes on each side.
Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
