Ingredients:
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Directions:
1. **Prepare the Vegetables:**
- Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets. Slice mushrooms into medium slices.
2. **Steam the Broccoli:**
- Bring a small pot of water to boil and steam the broccoli for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. **Sear the Mushrooms:**
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
4. **Add Garlic and Sauce:**
- Add the minced garlic to the mushrooms and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir to coat the mushrooms evenly.
5. **Combine Broccoli and Mushrooms:**
- Add the steamed broccoli to the skillet and toss well with the mushrooms and sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
6. **Serve:**
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy as a side dish or a light, healthy meal!
