Cheesy Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Savory Beef
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup beef broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust the sauce consistency by adding reserved pasta water if needed.
6. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, stirring until well coated.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
