Easy Fudgy Condensed Milk Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 can (14 oz / 395g) sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup (65g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely.
3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
4. Gradually add the flour, folding gently until just incorporated. Avoid overmixing to keep brownies fudgy.
5. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
6. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
8. Let brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Tips:
Use high-quality cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor and deeper color.
Avoid overbaking to maintain the fudgy texture; brownies should be slightly underdone in the center when removed from oven.
