🇫🇷 Hachis Parmentier
The French version of shepherd’s pie with layers of savory minced beef and creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
Ground beef – 500 g
Onion – 1, chopped
Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
Mashed potatoes – 800 g
Butter – 50 g
Milk – 100 ml
Grated cheese – 100 g
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions:
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
Add ground beef, cook thoroughly, and season.
Prepare mashed potatoes with butter and milk.
In a baking dish, layer beef mixture, then mashed potatoes.
Top with grated cheese and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes until golden.
