Beef and Macaroni Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
4. Stir in uncooked macaroni. Pour mixture into a greased casserole dish.
5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
6. Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
