Melt-in-your-mouth Apple Caramel Bombs

Ingredients:

- 1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 caramel candies
- 1 tablespoon butter, plus 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 apples, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Caramel sauce for drizzling
- Crushed peanuts for topping

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add the finely chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the apples are soft and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3. Unroll the biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small circle.
4. Place a caramel candy and about a teaspoon of the apple mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching edges to seal completely, forming a ball.
5. Place the balls seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush each with melted butter.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top before serving.
