ONE-PAN CREAMY GARLIC BUTTER CHICKEN WITH NOODLES
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 oz egg noodles (or your favorite pasta)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Cook for 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella. Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until it thickens and becomes creamy and cheesy.
4. Combine the Chicken and Noodles: Add the cooked chicken and noodles to the skillet with the cheesy garlic butter sauce. Toss everything to combine, ensuring the noodles and chicken are generously coated in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes for everything to blend together.
5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy this rich, cheesy, creamy goodness!
