🇫🇷 Sauce Béarnaise
A luxurious, buttery sauce flavored with tarragon and shallots—perfect for steaks or vegetables.
Ingredients:
• 2 egg yolks
• 125 g (1/2 cup) butter, melted
• 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
• 1 tbsp white wine
• 1 small shallot, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
• Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. In a bowl over simmering water, whisk yolks with vinegar, wine, shallot, and tarragon.
2. Whisk constantly until thickened.
3. Slowly add melted butter, whisking until smooth.
4. Season and serve immediately.
