Ingredients:
2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)
Instructions:
Prepare the Pineapple Base: In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, half of the sugar, and 1/4 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth and set aside in a separate bowl. If using fresh fruit, you may want to add a handful of ice to achieve a slushy texture.
Blend the Strawberry Layer: Rinse out the blender and add the strawberries, the remaining sugar, and another 1/4 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more sugar or a splash of water.
Assemble Your Slushie: Fill a glass halfway with the pineapple mixture. Slowly pour the strawberry blend over the top, creating a beautiful layered effect. For an artistic touch, use a spoon or straw to gently swirl the two layers together.
Serve Immediately: Add a straw and enjoy your slushie right away while itβs frosty and refreshing. If you prefer a thicker consistency, toss in a few ice cubes before serving.
