Apple Crisp Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (about 12 inches)
- 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter and transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
2. In a medium bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside to marinate.
3. In another bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and cubed butter. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until crumbly.
4. In a small bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
6. Arrange the apple slices evenly over the cream cheese layer.
7. Sprinkle the oat crumble topping evenly over the apples.
8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is golden and the topping is crisp.
9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
