For the cupcakes:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
Β½ tsp baking soda
ΒΌ tsp salt
Β½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Β½ cup whole milk
For the frosting:

1 lb powdered sugar
Β½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
2–3 drops pink gel food coloring
1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Scoop the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about ΒΎ full.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
To make the frosting, beat the butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and almond extracts, then mix in the food coloring.
Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the frosting reaches your desired consistency.
Frost the cooled cupcakes generously. Garnish with sprinkles or cotton candy for a finishing touch.
