Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
4 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp red food coloring
8 oz cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
Add buttermilk, vanilla extract, and red food coloring.
Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into the pan and spread it out evenly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cake is fully cooked.
