🍤 Creamy Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta 🍝
A rich, spicy, and creamy pasta dish perfect for seafood lovers!
📝 Ingredients:
For the Cajun Shrimp:
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp butter
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tsp salt (for boiling water)
For Garnish:
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp toasted breadcrumbs (optional)
🍽️ Directions:
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté the Cajun Shrimp:
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
Add butter and toss to coat. Remove from pan.
3️⃣ Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then mix in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
4️⃣ Combine & Serve:
Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce.
Plate the pasta and top with Cajun shrimp.
Garnish with fresh parsley and toasted breadcrumbs for a crunch.
