One-Pan Cajun Honey Butter Steak Pasta Wonder
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) flank steak or sirloin steak, sliced thinly
12 oz (340g) pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your choice)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp honey
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the steak: Season the sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it sit while you prepare the pasta.
Cook the pasta: In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the steak: In a large skillet or pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Make the sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, pour in the beef broth and scrape any bits off the bottom of the pan for flavor. Stir in the honey, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine: Add the cooked pasta and steak to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
Finish and serve: Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce is thick and creamy. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil for a pop of color.
Serve with:
A side of garlic bread or roasted vegetables.
Extra Parmesan or a drizzle of honey for added sweetness if desired.
This dish is comfort food at its finest—spicy, creamy, and oh-so-satisfying. Enjoy!
