Seafood Chopsuey - better than take out
A combination of shrimp, squid, quail eggs and vegetable stirfry with white creamy sauce!
Recipe:
1 cup shrimp
1 pound squid rings
1 cup sliced carrots
2 bell peppers sliced
1 cup mushroom
2 cups sliced brocolli
2 cups sliced cauliflower
1 onion diced
4 cloves garlic sliced
1 cup bean sprouts
1 cup corn
2 tablespoons oil
16 pieces boiled quail eggs
Sauce:
1 1/2 cup low sodium vegetable broth
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps;
In a large wok, add oil and saute onion and garlic till fragrant. Add shrimp and squid rings. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms, broccoli, bell pepper, cauliflower and carrots. Add the sauce and cook till vegetables are tender. Add bean sprouts, corn and boiled quail eggs. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve on top of rice or noodles. Enjoy!
