Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs
Marinade:
2 lbs pork ribs (Ask your butcher to cut them into individual ribs for easier cooking.)
1⁄2 cup soy sauce (Use low-sodium if preferred.)
1⁄4 cup rice vinegar
1⁄4 cup brown sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1⁄4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp sesame oil
Coating:
1⁄2 cup cornstarch
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp salt
1⁄4 tsp pepper
Sweet and Sour Sauce:
1⁄2 cup ketchup
1⁄4 cup rice vinegar
1⁄4 cup brown sugar
1⁄4 cup pineapple juice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
Additional Ingredients:
1 bell pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1⁄2 cup pineapple chunks
2 tbsp vegetable oil
green onions, chopped (for garnish)
