Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach 🦐🦀🌿

Ingredients:

1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 pound crab meat
2 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cups fresh spinach
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, cooking them for about 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter, then add the minced garlic and diced onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, cooking until wilted, which should take about 2 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
Gently fold in the crab meat and the cooked shrimp, ensuring they are well combined with the creamy spinach mixture.
