For the Chocolate Ganache:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and beat on medium speed until well combined.
4. Stir in boiling water carefully; batter will be thin. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
6. For the peanut butter cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

8. Pour cheesecake filling over one chocolate cake layer in the pan and bake at 325°F (163°C) for 45-50 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
9. Place the cheesecake layer on top of the other chocolate cake layer.
10. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until just simmering and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.
11. Pour ganache over the assembled cake, spreading evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
