Spicy Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles ππΆοΈ
A classic Chinese noodle dish loaded with bold flavors and a fiery kick.
Ingredients:
8 oz (225g) wheat noodles
1/2 lb (225g) ground pork
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns (ground)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp ginger (grated)
2 tbsp chili oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp black vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp sesame paste or peanut butter
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Cook Noodles: Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook Pork: Heat oil in a pan. Add ground pork and cook until browned. Stir in garlic, ginger, and Sichuan peppercorns.
Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together chili oil, soy sauce, black vinegar, chicken broth, and sesame paste.
Combine: Toss noodles with sauce and top with cooked pork.
Serve: Garnish with green onions and enjoy.
