🍩 Peanut Butter Cheesecake Donut 🥜
Ingredients
For the Donut Sandwiches:
4 chocolate-glazed donuts
½ cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup crushed Reese’s cups (or similar peanut butter cups)
For the Peanut Butter Drizzle:
¼ cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the crushed Reese’s cups. Cover the mixture and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up slightly.
Prepare the Donuts:
Carefully slice each chocolate-glazed donut in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer. Spread a thin, even layer of peanut butter on the bottom half of each donut.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
Once the cheesecake filling has chilled, spoon or pipe a generous amount onto the peanut butter layer of each donut bottom. Place the top half of the donut back on to form a sandwich.
Make the Peanut Butter Drizzle:
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and milk. Microwave for 15–20 seconds, then stir until smooth and drizzle-friendly. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed.
Finish and Serve:
Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture over the assembled donut sandwiches. Sprinkle additional crushed Reese’s cups on top for extra flavor and texture. Serve immediately and enjoy this heavenly combination of flavors
