Rice Krispie Cheddar Crackers
Ingredients:
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)
1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, cream together the cheddar cheese and softened butter until smooth.
Add flour, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly distributed.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into balls. Place on the baking sheet and flatten slightly with your palm or the bottom of a glass.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and crisp on the edges.
Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
