CHEAP CHICKEN CASSEROLE 1950s
1 Roll of Ritz Crackers
4 Tbsp. butter
1 cup sour cream
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and the cream of chicken soup. Mix thoroughly. Put the mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish. Place the chicken on top of the sour cream and chicken soup mixture. Add shredded cheddar cheese.
Crush the Ritz crackers and cover the dish. Dot the butter over the top. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. serve over rice
