🐟🍋 Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic
🛒 Ingredients:
4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
3 tbsp melted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for extra zing)
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon slices (for garnish)
👩🍳 Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Set to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Prep the Cod:
Pat cod fillets dry and place them in the baking dish. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, and lemon juice (plus zest if using).
Bake It:
Pour the lemon garlic butter over the cod. Add a few lemon slices on top. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Finish & Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with rice, roasted veggies, or a side salad.
