Crispy and Tasty Meal for the weekend!

Delicious Tempura Shrimp
My family’s favorite weekend appetizer! So crispy and delicious.
Recipe:
1 lb extra large shrimp
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
Batter:
1 large egg
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cold water
oil for frying
Steps:
Devein the shrimp and remove the shell right up to the tail. Add 3-4 incision between the belly of the shrimp.
Toss the shrimp in cornstarch and salt. Set aside.
Heat up oil in a pot.
In a bowl, mix egg with water and flour and stir in with a fork. Do not overmix.
Once the oil is hot, dip each shrimp in batter and gently place in the oil.
Fry 4 to 5 shrimp at a time.
Fry each shrimp 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove onto a plate with a paper towel.
Repeat each steps with all shrimp.
Serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!

Delicious Egg Foo Young!
Recipe:
7 eggs
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups bean sprouts
1/2 cup green onion
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Oil to fry
Steps:
In a large bowl, add eggs, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper and sesame oil. Mix well. Then, add bean sprouts and green onions. Mix will combine.
In a large frying pan, add 4 tablespoons of oil. Using 1/3 cup, scoop the mixture and fry in the pan in medium heat until golden brown on each side. Repeat the process until done. Serve with rice and egg foo young sauce/gravy or ketchup. Enjoy!
