Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl
Ingredients (Serves 4):
1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced beef
2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 cups cooked white or brown rice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp hoisin or teriyaki sauce (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook beef until browned, about 5–7 minutes, breaking it up if using ground beef. Drain excess fat.
Add bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Sauté until tender, about 5–7 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce and optional hoisin or teriyaki sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes to combine flavors.
Serve over warm cooked rice.
