Flavorful Pad Thai Topped with Crispy Tofu

Ingredients:
For the tofu:
- 400g firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts

For the Pad Thai:
- 300g rice noodles
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Lime wedges and cilantro for garnish

Directions:
1. Toss tofu cubes with soy sauce, cornstarch, and crushed peanuts. Sauté until golden and crispy. Set aside.
2. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
3. In a skillet, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic. Add bean sprouts, carrots, and green onions, cooking briefly.
4. Mix soy sauce, tamarind paste, and maple syrup. Add to the skillet along with cooked noodles. Toss well.
5. Serve Pad Thai topped with crispy peanut tofu, garnished with lime wedges and cilantro.
