Beef Stir-Fry with Peppers and Rice π
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
ΒΌ cup beef broth
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
Β½ tsp black pepper
2 cups cooked white rice
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
Directions:
1οΈβ£ In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
2οΈβ£ Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
3οΈβ£ Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry bell peppers and onion for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
4οΈβ£ Add garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5οΈβ£ Return beef to the pan. Pour in beef broth, oyster sauce, honey, and black pepper. Stir well and let it cook for another 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
6οΈβ£ Serve hot over cooked white rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
