Sizzling Soy-Garlic Pepper Steak with Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:
In a bowl, combine beef slices with soy sauce and cornstarch. Toss until the meat is well coated and set aside for 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and sear until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then toss in the onion and bell peppers. Cook until slightly tender but still crisp.
Add the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, black pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Return the beef to the pan and stir well to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
