Ingredients
For the Shrimp
1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1-2 teaspoons red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
For the Cilantro Rice
1 cup rice (jasmine or basmati)
2 cups water
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
Salt (to taste)
Instructions
1. Cook the Cilantro Rice
Rinse Rice: Rinse rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Cook Rice: In a pot, combine rice, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
Add Cilantro: Stir in chopped cilantro and lime juice. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Shrimp
Melt Butter: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
