Beef and Broccoli Noodles Recipe
Ingredients:
Beef Marinade:
1 lb flank steak
1 tsp salt
½ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp neutral oil
Sauce:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp white pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
¼ tsp MSG
¾ cup chicken stock
1 tbsp cornstarch
Other Ingredients:
1 lb lo mein noodles
1 lb broccoli, cut into 1" pieces
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
4 tbsp neutral oil
Directions:
Cut flank steak into ¼" wide strips and marinate for 20 minutes with marinade ingredients.
In a bowl, whisk together sauce ingredients.
Blanch broccoli for 1 minute in boiling water, then drain and set aside.
Cook lo mein noodles 1 minute less than instructed on the package. Drain and set aside.
Heat neutral oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Stir-fry beef for 2-3 minutes, then remove.
Add garlic and ginger to the same oil, cooking for 15 seconds. Toss in broccoli and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Add cooked beef, noodles, and sauce to the wok. Toss everything together and cook over high heat until sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
