Beef Stir-Fry with Peppers and Rice 🥩🌶️🍚
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked white rice
Green onions (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef to the skillet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Stir-fry the beef for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil.
Add sliced onions, red, green, and yellow bell peppers. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until veggies are slightly tender but still crisp.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet.
Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to combine everything evenly.
Pour in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve the stir-fry hot over cooked white rice. Garnish with chopped green onions if you like.
